My father, (Al Syatt) may he rest in peace, attended services here and always said what a wonderful little shul this was. I am in the area for a short time and was welcomed by the President (David Rappaport), the Rabbi (Elliott Hurvitz) and many congregants. I was even honored by given the privilege of opening the ark. I don't read Hebrew but there was a lot in English. I enjoyed the explanations from the Rabbi, all the singing, and a stellar performance of the shofar by David. If I lived in the area, Beth Shalom of Holbrook would be my temple.
